Policy Against Modern Slavery, Human Trafficking and Abuse

Addikme is committed to maintaining a safe, lawful and respectful environment that protects the rights of all persons using or appearing on the platform.

Addikme applies a policy of zero tolerance towards all forms of human trafficking, trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation, modern slavery, exploitation or abuse.

This Policy describes the principles, prohibitions, preventive measures, monitoring procedures and reporting mechanisms implemented by Addikme to prevent any use of the platform that could promote, facilitate or contribute to such practices.

The examples and practices mentioned in this Policy are provided for illustrative purposes only and do not constitute an exhaustive list.


🎯 Purpose and Addikme’s commitment

The purpose of this Policy is to specify the principles applied by Addikme to prevent and combat:

  • modern slavery 
  • human trafficking 
  • trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation 
  • the exploitation of a person 
  • coercion 
  • abuse 
  • any activity based on the absence of consent or the exploitation of a situation of vulnerability

Addikme is committed to taking appropriate measures whenever a situation that may fall within one of these practices is detected or reported.


🚫 Zero tolerance and strictly prohibited activities

It is strictly prohibited to use Addikme, directly or indirectly, to:

  • promote human trafficking 
  • facilitate or organize trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation 
  • recruit or solicit a person for purposes of exploitation 
  • subject a person to force, pressure, threats or any form of coercion 
  • exploit a person because of their economic, social or personal circumstances 
  • organize or facilitate any form of modern slavery 
  • publish or distribute content involving a person without their consent 
  • organize, encourage or facilitate any form of abuse 
  • attempt to conceal or circumvent an activity prohibited by this Policy

This prohibition applies to all uses of the platform, including content, profiles, exchanges, communications and services offered by Addikme.


🤝 Consent, coercion and exploitation

Any participation in content, an activity or an interaction on Addikme must be voluntary and consensual.

It is prohibited to publish, distribute, commercialize or use content when a person:

  • has not given their consent 
  • participates under coercion or threat 
  • is being exploited 
  • is not able to provide valid consent 
  • or when the necessary authorizations have not been obtained

Any situation that reasonably suggests that a person is participating against their will or is subject to coercion, exploitation or abuse may be reviewed by Addikme.


👥 Obligations of creators and fans

Creators and fans agree never to use Addikme to promote, facilitate or contribute to any activity prohibited by this Policy.

In particular, they must:

  • respect the consent of every person concerned 
  • provide accurate information whenever verification is required 
  • hold the required rights and authorizations relating to the content they publish or distribute 
  • not conceal the identity or circumstances of a person for the purpose of circumventing the platform’s rules 
  • not attempt to circumvent verification, monitoring or security procedures implemented by Addikme 
  • cooperate with Addikme whenever legitimate verification is necessary

Any conduct contrary to these obligations may result in the measures provided for under this Policy and the Terms of Service.


🔎 Addikme’s prevention and intervention measures

Addikme implements measures designed to prevent and detect uses of the Platform that are contrary to this Policy.

When a suspicious situation is detected or reported, Addikme may carry out additional checks and immediately take the necessary measures to protect the persons concerned and the integrity of the platform.

Depending on the situation, Addikme may in particular:

  • temporarily make content inaccessible 
  • suspend certain features 
  • request additional information or supporting documents 
  • temporarily suspend an account 
  • prevent the continuation of an activity or interaction 
  • retain the information necessary to review the incident


🚨 Reporting a situation

Anyone may report to Addikme a situation that may involve:

  • human trafficking 
  • sexual exploitation 
  • modern slavery 
  • coercion 
  • abuse 
  • lack of consent 
  • or any other activity contrary to this Policy

A report may be submitted:

To facilitate the processing of a report, it is recommended to provide, whenever possible:

  • the link to the content or profile concerned 
  • the username concerned 
  • a detailed description of the situation 
  • any information that may help identify the reported facts 
  • any useful document or supporting evidence

Reports potentially involving human trafficking, exploitation, coercion or abuse are treated as a priority.


⚖️ Measures and sanctions

When a violation of this Policy is identified, Addikme may in particular take the following measures:

  • refusal or removal of content 
  • blocking of content or a feature 
  • temporary suspension of the account 
  • permanent termination of the account 
  • restriction or removal of access to certain services 
  • retention of information necessary to process the incident 
  • any other appropriate measure to protect the persons concerned and the platform

The measures taken may vary depending on the seriousness of the facts, the level of risk identified and the applicable legal obligations.


👮 Cooperation with authorities

Addikme cooperates with the competent authorities whenever such cooperation is imposed or required in accordance with applicable law.

When legally necessary, Addikme may retain and disclose relevant information, including in connection with:

  • an investigation 
  • a court order or judicial request 
  • a request from a competent authority 
  • or a legal reporting obligation

Addikme takes the necessary measures whenever a situation brought to its attention may involve illegal activity falling within the scope of this Policy.
