Private Requests, Live Streams, and Calls: What a Creator Can Accept or Refuse
As a Creator, you remain free to accept or decline any private request, live stream, or call proposed by a Fan. This article explains this principle and how to set your own boundaries.
You remain free to accept or decline
Whatever the type of request:
-
a private message
-
a personalized content request
-
a live stream
-
an audio or video call
Set your own boundaries
It’s recommended to clearly define, for yourself:
-
what you are and aren’t willing to offer
-
the type of requests you accept
-
the boundaries you don’t wish to cross
Content must always comply with the platform’s rules
Whatever your personal choices, all content and interactions must comply with:
-
Addikme’s terms of use
-
the legal framework in effect
-
the rules related to prohibited content
How do you decline a request?
If you want to decline a request:
-
stay clear and respectful in your response
-
explain simply, if you wish, that the request doesn’t fit what you offer
-
don’t feel obligated to justify your decision in detail
What to do if a Fan insists or oversteps your boundaries
If a Fan insists after your refusal or oversteps the boundaries you’ve set:
-
stay firm in your position
-
consider blocking the person if needed
-
report the behavior to Addikme support if it seems inappropriate
